Setup Widget

Add the AI chat to your site: WordPress, Shopify or any website with a snippet

The widget is the chat bubble that brings your AI agent directly to your website: visitors ask questions and the agent replies 24/7, on desktop and mobile.

Where it's managed

  1. Go to Widget in the dashboard sidebar
  2. Find the agent's card: it shows the current status (Active/Inactive), color and position
  3. Click Settings (or Configure, the first time)

Inside you'll find everything: the Integration Code card for installation, the customization sections and the Widget Status switch to turn the chat on and off on your site.

Installation

The path depends on your site's platform.

WordPress: official plugin (recommended)

  1. In the WordPress panel go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and search for Leader24
  2. Click Install Now, then Activate
  3. Open the Leader24 entry in the WordPress menu and paste your Agent ID
  4. Save: the widget appears on the site

You copy the Agent ID from the dashboard: Agents → your agent → Settings → General tab, Agent ID field with the copy button. In the Integration Code card you'll also find a WordPress tab with the illustrated step-by-step guide.

Shopify and any other site: HTML snippet

  1. Go to Widget → agent's card → Integration Code
  2. Click Copy Code
  3. Paste the snippet before the closing body tag

For Shopify: Online Store → Themes → Edit code → open theme.liquid and paste the snippet before the closing body tag. For Wix: Settings → Custom Code → add the code to "Body - end". For Squarespace: Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → Footer field.

Don't want to touch the code yourself?

In the Integration Code card click "Send install instructions to your web master": they'll receive the code and a step-by-step guide by email. You can add a personal message, and from the card you can track the status — "Waiting for installation" until the widget goes online, then "Widget installed on..." with the detected site.

Verify the installation

  1. Reload your site
  2. The widget icon appears in the chosen corner
  3. Open the chat and send a test message

From here on everything is managed from the dashboard: colors, messages and behavior update on your site by themselves when the page reloads, without touching the code again.
