AI Act
What people see when they message your agent, on every channel
Anyone who contacts your business needs to be able to tell they're talking to an automated assistant, not a person. It's a requirement of the European AI Act, in force as of August 2, 2026. Leader24 declares this on its own, on every channel, without you having to do anything.
What your customer sees
Website widget
In the chat window header, next to the status, AI Assistant appears. It's visible even before the customer sends the first message. This also applies to the widget on Shopify and WordPress.
Above the first reply in every conversation, the agent writes AI Assistant. Only the first one: later replies don't repeat the label, so the conversation doesn't feel cluttered.
Emails sent by the agent
Every email the agent sends carries a marker in the message's technical header, declaring the content as AI-generated. You won't see it when reading the email — it's there for mail clients and for anyone doing a check.
Leader24 support chat
Support inside the dashboard is an AI agent too, and it declares this under the panel title.
It can't be turned off
The declaration is written by Leader24's code, not by the AI model. No agent setting — hidden name, welcome message, custom instructions — can remove or change it.
This is deliberate: it's what makes it trustworthy.
It follows the conversation's language
The label exists in Italian, English, Spanish, French, and German, and follows the language the agent is replying in — not the one set in the dashboard.
What Leader24 guarantees
On every channel the agent uses — widget, WhatsApp, email, support chat — the declaration is present, written by the code, and can't be turned off. The transparency obligations the European AI Act places on system providers are met by Leader24: you don't need to configure anything.
What's still on you
Your business's own obligations: privacy notice, cookies, and any other AI tools you use outside Leader24.
